Automated system to stack boxes or pallets, which is controlled through computer by a warehouse operator. Stacking crane places goods from the rack straight on the conveyor, which is located in the beginning of the rack system. The goods travels on the conveyor directly to the export point specified by the operator.

When compared to a conventional rack system, drive-in racks enhance usability of the premises thank to elimination of preparing aisles. This system offers safe block-storing of goods which is too fragile or unstable for stacking the pallets one on another. The system of pallet rack is especially suitable for building the blocks of drive-in racks. Good in the drive-in system is delivered in and out of the warehouse in accordance with LIFO principle (Last In First Out). There are very often guide sections on the floor to guide the handling equipment and to protect uprights in the drive-in ducts.

Shuttle consists of a special rack structure and a mobile truck. The battery-driven truck travels in rails located in the storage ducts and delivers pallets in or out of the warehouse. The trucks are transported to a delivery point in the rack or collected at that point using standard handling equipment. As soon as the pallet is on the spot, shuttle will move the pallet in or out of the rack without requiring any further action from the warehouse operator. 

Mobile racks are formed by combining structures of pallet racks and mobile carriage units which allow opening and closing the aisles between rows of the mobile racks. The mobile racks may be the best solution for warehouse where as much goods as possible shall be stored while the goods must be still accessible easily. Furthermore, the mobile racks are suitable for warehouses with high operational costs, such as cold and deep freeze storage. Using mobile racks saves 40% of the warehouse area. Minimisation of number of aisles between the racks significantly saves the warehouse area.
